Stella Ong
Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist

I am committed to provide high-quality, professional mental health therapy for clients. My approach is grounded in inclusivity and empowerment, and I believe that therapy should be accessible to all who need it. I work with adults and young adults, particularly those in demanding professional roles navigating stress and anxiety from the pressures of their careers, relationships, and other life demands. I also specialize in LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy, providing an inclusive and supportive space for individuals to process experiences, identities, and relationships.

My Clinical Approach

With training in evidence-based modalities like cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), choice theory reality therapy (CTRT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as Gottman Method Couples Therapy (GMCT), I utilize an integrative toolkit to support you on your journey towards better mental well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, non-judgmental space where you can openly share, gain insight, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself while finding your meaning and purpose.

In my practice, I adhere strictly to the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) code of ethics and standards of clinical practice. This commitment ensures that I provide a safe, ethical, professional and inclusive therapeutic environment for everyone.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues or other obstacles, I will collaborate with you every step of the way. Ultimately, I want to support you on your journey towards better mental health, helping you creating the change to lead a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Ask me anything!

I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
